Tuscarora Pottery School invites members Great Basin College’s ceramics community for their 3rd annual community firing. Enjoy five days dedicated to glazing, loading, and firing TPS’s soda kiln. Accommodation provided, just bring your own ∆10 high fire bisque ware & enough food to last the duration of your stay.
This retreat is designed to deepen your ceramic practice in an alternative community setting, offering a blend of creativity & collaboration. It’s an opportunity for members of GBC’s ceramics community to immerse themselves in the world of clay, surrounded by peers & the inspiring setting of Tuscarora, Nevada.
Please refer to the lodging page to secure a space if additional members of your party would like to attend but aren’t participating in a firing. This is a private event exclusive to ceramics students & faculty at Great Basin College in Elko, Nevada.
