Ceramica Community Firing
Journey to the fabled Tuscarora Pottery School for an immersive atmospheric firing. This 5-day intensive offers a chance to explore both cone 10 soda firing and raku/alternative firing in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Participants can opt for the full experience, or join just for a 3-day raku-focused workshop.

Schedule:
May 29: Soda + Raku participants arrive, load soda kiln
May 30: Fire soda kiln
May 31: Raku-only participants arrive
June 1: Raku firing & soda kiln unloading
June 2: Departure
Workshop Features:
Hands-on experience with both soda and raku firing
Preparation of soda-fired pieces in advance at Ceramica (slipping, glazing, bisque firing)
Alternative firing techniques included in the raku workshop
Relaxed, creative atmosphere in a historic, remote setting

Your own ∆10 high-fire bisque ware
Food supplies for breakfast & lunch (potluck-style)
