Join us for our annual UNR Community Soda Firing, an exclusive opportunity tailored for the University of Nevada, Reno’s Ceramics and Sculpture Departments. This event offers a unique opportunity for students and faculty to engage with the soda firing process.

Bring your own ∆10 high fire bisque ware
Schedule: Two days glazing, one day kiln loading, two days firing
Room & board provided (participants must bring their own food)

Maker’s are encouraged to bring their own ∆10 high fire bisque ware. We will spend two days glazing, one day loading, and three days firing Tuscarora Pottery School’s soda kiln. Room & board provided, however folks are required to bring their own food.
This event is designed to foster community and creativity, while reveling in the town of Tuscarora’s ability to nurture the creative spirit. This is an ideal setting for both students and faculty to explore the ceramic arts in an incomparable environment.
